While I took advantage of the summer to recharge and reboot, I also carved out time to keep up with some of the latest developments in the world of content marketing by taking a deep dive into digital marketing and artificial intelligence.

Though I have been working in digital marketing for more than 10 years, most of what I learned was self taught, hands on, on-the-job. This summer, I gave myself the gift to study the industry as a whole and ensure that I went into the new season with the most up-to-date information possible.

Now that was a trip! I had a blast actually learning about and using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to boost my content marketing kick-off, research, and craft. Embracing these AI tools has not only revolutionized my content generation process but has also injected a sense of excitement into the task. I went from being an absolute novice with respect to the basic ChatGPT (that every school kid knows) to understanding the nuances of how each tool can be used to the best advantage to deliver the highest quality product to my clients.
When used properly and professionally, AI is a boon to content marketing. From conducting comprehensive market research to crafting diverse forms of content, generating captivating visuals, and even venturing into video production, the potential of AI seems boundless. The term prompt engineering does not do justice to the creativity and art of querying AI.
